- Phillips Head Driver — For the M8 Lagun bracket bolts
- 13mm Wrench or Socket — For the M8 Lagun bracket nuts
- 17mm Socket + Extension (or 17mm Deep Socket) — For the M10 seat base bolts
- 17mm Wrench — Used with the 17mm socket for the M10 seat base bolts
- Needle Nose Pliers — Backup if wrench is too wide for seat base opening
Decide whether you are installing on the driver or passenger side. The mount is reversible — it works on either seat base. The Lagun plate side of the mount should point toward the B-pillar, with the two M10 bolt slots positioned on the outboard side of the seat base.
Tip: Fully assemble and torque the Lagun bracket to the mount on a workbench before taking it to the van. This makes alignment much easier.
Attach the Lagun Bracket
- Standard/Wide Bracket: Place the bracket against the mount face and align the four corner holes. Insert M8 bolts through the bracket and mount. Hold the back of each nut with a 13mm wrench or socket and the front of the bolt with a Phillips driver Fully torque.
- Narrow/Sliver Bracket: Align the bracket to the three holes along the outboard side of the mount. Insert M8 bolts through the bracket and mount. Hold the back of each nut with a 13mm wrench or socket and the front of the bolt with a Phillips driver. Fully torque.
- Take the two included M10 bolts and insert them backwards through the rectangular seat base slots from the inside — stems pointing outward like studs.
- Slide the mount assembly over the two protruding bolt stems.
- Place an M10 washer onto each stem, then thread on the M10 nuts finger tight.
Tightening the Seat Base Bolts
For the top bolt, use the 17mm wrench on the back and the 17mm socket on the front. If your wrench is too wide to fit behind the top bolt, hold the bolt with needle nose pliers while tightening from the front with the 17mm socket. For the bottom bolt, switch — insert the 17mm socket behind the seat base opening to access the back of the bolt, and tighten the front with the 17mm wrench.
Note: Some wrenches are too wide to fit into the seat base opening entirely, to engage the top bolt head. If yours won't fit, hold the back of the nut with needle nose pliers while tightening the front with a 17mm wrench or socket.
Slide your Lagun arm onto the bracket, adjust to your desired height, and you're ready to go.
